Anyone Interested?

Someone contacted me not too long ago for a large order. Since this order is so large and requires a commitment from the author, I am only going to accept a few authors that have proven to write good content here on the Informative Post. I am definitely doing to need a few writers on board with this one though so that I can get the content to him more timely.

Providing Content to Partners

The Informative Post just released a new feature to the site. We are starting to allow other companies and individuals to request content from the site. As the site has been growing, I have noticed all of the great authors that have joined up with the Informative Post and wanted to provide them with new opportunities for writing great content to other sites as well. Read more to learn about what I am talking about exactly.

Informative Post is Back Online

Wow, it feels like forever that the site has been shut down! Well, needless to say, if you are reading this it is obvious that the site is back online. I did a lot of changing around in the mean time. That is partly the reason why the site was down for so long. I'll explain here what happened, and what I am going to be doing to prevent it from happening in the future.

Host Shut Our Site Down

If you have been on at any time throughout today, you might have noticed the dreaded 403 error being displayed on the page! :O Apparently the site is growing faster than I thought. Our host seems to think we are hogging our servers too much! I'll give you a little run down of what happened in this post.

The New Update is Done

I know it seems like a long time, and actually it has. If you take a look at all the work that has been put into the site, you will see why it took me so long to get it all designed and developed. This new update contains a lot of features, and also has a few that weren't implemented. There are now other ways to increase your AP that you can do on your own that don't involve bringing in traffic, but just being active. I'll be going through some of the new features in this blog post.

Sample Picture of New Homepage

Here is what the new homepage is going to be looking like. This obviously is still not nearly complete. So far we have implemented a few things, some of which aren't even in the current version of the Informative Post. Instead of writing out an email to everyone, I decided I would write a short little post explaining the Author Priority rating a little more and why it drops after articles get published. The answer can be found inside.

Site was Down this Morning

If you were trying to get on the site this morning you may have been a little disappointed.

Now Submit Your Articles to Digg

Great news!
