Fable 2 - The One To Look Forward To

For those who played the first Fable, you probably know how the basics work. Depending on the decisions you make, it will affect how people react to you, and change how you look. It basically changes your entire gaming experience, letting you enjoy the game several times through if you wanted to do something different. Fable 2 will have all the same basics, but it will expand on them so much more.

You are who you want to be in Fable. You can be evil, or you can be good. You can attack everyone you see, or you can offer peace, and help out as many people as you can. In Fable 2, depending on these actions, it’ll greatly affect the game in the long run. For example, if you find a group of people in the woods asking for money; you can do two things. One, give them money and be on your way. Two, you can just kill them. If you would have given them money, and came back to that spot in the future, there could be a town there. If you would have killed them and came back, there would only be bones. There are many choices for you to make such as that, which will affect how you play.

As for the new features, you have the ability to play co-op. Now, you can enjoy the entire game, or just portions of it with a friend. The host player gets to decide how to split up the experience, gold, and items though. You can also venture with man’s best friends. That’s right, a dog. You can play with your dog, feed it, and take it with you on your adventure. Or, you can leave it behind if that’s what you want. There are many things which will distract you from actual game itself, like starting a family perhaps. Or stealing, and being as evil as you can. You see, you make the game what it is. It’ll be a different experience for everyone.

We can expect to be playing this on the Xbox 360 once it comes out October 21st in the U.S.

I have been playing Fable 2 for a day now...and i have already found out many things that u would have never expected. the huge variety of professions you can have are an easy way to have a very complex virtual economy. many ways to make money and how you spend it can effect the fiture...for instance i have been doin the same busines with the same trader for most of the days i play, and his shop is getting bigger, i get discounts for doing business w/ him, and it is starting to build a community around that shop.

Yeah, I've been playing the game the last 3 days, and it's a lot of fun. I recommend it to anyone who owns an Xbox 360
