Review of Mystery Case Files MillionHeir for Nintendo DS by Big Fish Games

I love the Mystery Case Files games; I’ve ended all of them on the PC. Mystery Case Files games are games that are considered “hunt and find” games. Items are hidden in an image and you must click them to remove them from your listing and solve the crime. You play a detective in all the Mystery Case Files games.

I only recently found out that Mystery Case Files not only had a new game, but two of them. One was for mobile phones, and the other was for Nintendo DS. The very day I discovered Mystery Case Files MillionHeir for Nintendo DS was released, I headed to my local Game Stop store. For $19.99 I was able to pick up the new game, that I knew would fill my schedule with hours of fun, and sure enough, it did!

Before I purchased the game, I had gone to the website and attempted to play the demo, but the demo was little to no help, in fact it was a waste of time.

You must local hidden objects while solving riddles, putting together puzzles, and tapping wildly on DNA strands to destroy them to move onto the next level.

When I first loaded the game I didn’t really know what to expect because I couldn’t imagine how they would change a game I loved on my PC, to the Nintendo DS system. Shortly after the first few screens of reading, the game finally began, and sure enough, they managed to put the exact effort into the game they had for PC’s into the Nintendo DS game system.

Mystery Case Files MillionHeir for Nintendo DS takes more effort then the previous Mystery Case Files games, because you have to constantly shift the screen hunting for items. Where as on your PC when you seek the hidden items to solve the case you can see the whole room at once. The interesting thing about Mystery Case Files MillionHeir for Nintendo DS is the items you pick up along the way to solve the crime. The unique tools you are provided to solve the crimes with reveal unseen items with the naked eye. The good thing though is you can use the arrow control pad to quickly move about the room, unless you are using one of the many tools provided for you.

Each person provides you with something special after each subject is solved. Don’t be so quick to rush through the text provided for you telling you how to use each item, you will regret it if you do.

Mystery Case Files MillionHeir for Nintendo DS is an excellent game for all ages, as long as you can read, and know what the items look like, you are able to play. You must also be able to complete tasks that require a lot of thought, just as their previous Mystery Case File games do.  I would suggest playing those other games before you jump into playing it on the Nintendo DS system. You may like the larger screen on your PC better.

I think the creator of this game did the right thing by creating it for the Nintendo DS because the full game versions of the other Mystery Case File games are able to be downloaded on Shareaza, thus the creator doesn’t get paid for this work.

So you be the detective, spot the clues, and find the MillionHeir today. You won’t regret it, if you enjoy seek and find games.
