Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

 The world of PC gaming has become very interactive with companies such as Blizzard Entertainment offering online sites to compete against other gamers. However, the best way to get into any of these games is to first buy the game and play it on your own computer. This will allow you to learn the game, the various quirks, and increase your chance of doing well in the online gaming arean.

I had never even heard about Diablo 4 years ago, but then I met my boyfriend who has been playing this game since the 1990’s. Once I started playing it, I was hooked. He had the Diablo II edition. Shortly after meeting him, I purchased the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Battle Chest. This package had the Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction CD’s as well as a book. The book is the Ultimate Strategy Guide and provides hints and tips for the game. With this book, you can learn all the areas that you should visit in the game to get additional gold, jewels and special items.

Diablo II has four Acts, or areas, that have multiple levels and quests in each. Act IV ends with the Quest to kill Diablo. However, the expansion set, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, has an additional Act. In Act V, you have to find and kill Baal. Baal is legend to be Diablo’s brother and has come back to rule the world.

The CD’s are loaded with cinematics that can either be loaded onto your computer, or to save space, played off the CD’s in between the Acts. These mini movies tell you the tale behind the game, and can really get you psyched to play! In addition to the Ultimate Strategy Guide, there is a booklet that gives you some background on the game and the storyline.

cool, you're a chick. PC gaming is no longer for the male species alone. hehe, a friend of mine beat her boyfriend (one too many times) in this game. i really don't know if the guy is losing on purpose or my friend is that good.

on saturday, we'll be spending the day in her house. i'll be trying my hands in this diablo game

Pretty good classic PC game...I've curved away from PC games though, my comp isn't quite good enough to play the newer ones XP
