Samsung Ladyphone SGH-E530 review

 The dynamic world of mobile phones

One must have a great mobile phone these days, people who haven't an up-to-date mobile phone seem to be frowned upon. For teenagers it's important to be part of the group and so it's a common site that certain types of mobile phones have sale records that are through the roof for a short amount of time.
But what happens next with these phones?

I bought the Samsung E530 after the hype was over, at a reasonable price, and will tell you how this phone has lasted me for the last one and a half years.

How to sell more mobile phones to the lady public? Add some feminine colours and a planner that can tell you when your period is coming in (pink calender) and you have a ladyphone! Want to count calories? With the ladyphone it's no longer a problem. Being girly is hot once again.

Samsung E530

This phone has slim lining and has two colours. A big stripe runs over the middle in a darker shade and the outsides are a lighter shade of the same colour.
The purple version seemed to be very popular, but there also was a green, blue, orange and silver version available.

Each phone came with a special phone cover in the same colour of a soft, pettable fabric; I think it's some type of velours. The cover started to rip and tear after one and a half years of intensive use, but has protected my phone very well. A friend had the same phone and she allready had a new one so I got her cover and that will keep me going for another year and a half or so.

The phone itsself is easy to use. The menu is in full colour and has images that leave nothing to the imagination. Fun extra is that when you type in the phone number the numbers show in rainbow colours.

Extra options include the pink calender, counting calories, adding photo's to a mobile number so you can see who calls you and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
The ringtones can be mono-, poly-, or realtone and you can put your own MP3 in it aswell with bluetooth.

Battery life is very good. Even after one and a half years the phone will last me up to three days if I don't use it and keep it standbye, and up to two days if I use it a lot.
A lot is considered calling for about 2 up to 3,5 hours during the day.
I haven't had the need to buy a new battery, but they are available at reasonable prices of about 40 euros a battery; this is an original samsung battery.

The charger still works fine, I never had trouble with it and it's as fast as ever.
Sound and volume are working great, very clear and adjustable to ones wishes.

Conclusion

If you aren't in a rush to get a new phone every time fashion changes, this phone will last you a long time. It's worth it's price and you will have a lot of fun using it.
It works like a charm and it looks lovely too.
