Like lots of people in Asia, I am waiting for the official iPhone launch. There are lots of cracked ones but I am not willing to bet on them. Patience in waiting for the original and legal product is more conscience clear.

Check with your service provider -not all areas have 3G service, or will even get 3G service, which is the new network that supposedly doubles the speed of the new iphones. I pitched a fit and spoke to two or three supervisors but finally received a $120 credit to my bill for this problem. (The plans are $10 more a month for the 3G because of it's faster speed, but I didn't see the point in paying it in case I happened to travel to an area that had 3G). My 3G is also a replacement (the fourth) for my first generation iPhone that continuously had hardware problems. I love it... when it works.

I got my iPhone 3G the day it came out and I haven't looked back since. I have been very happy with my purchase and yeah there are a few bugs but not everything is perfect. I believe Apple will be working very hard keeping the iPhone the best phone in the market!

iphone too expensive in the philippines

i am originally from the philippines and my brother told me that a telecom company is selling the iphone unit at PhP 40,000++. that is around 880++ USD. wow! that is one expensive iphone.

i think that the price will deter the buyers from purchasing the iphone. even the wonderful features of iphone will not help mask the oh-so expensive cost

i think i phone is one device i would have loved to have but the prices here in my country India are way too steep i thought it would cost 200$ i.e 8000rs in india but the prices are almost doubled and it costs around 31000 rs thats way too much spend from my pocket so i think the prices are not fixed properly anyway nice article i read it is nice eye opener.

So many problems have come out since this review was posted. The most severe are security/privacy risks (only solved by downloading a firmware update that limits functionality) and the limited 3G network availability. Both leave me doubtful that I'd choose to switch to the new iPhone.

this is great, however, for me it is not economical since it is expensive in nature. However, the features is great as I read it. You can interface many sites with this phone. Hope I will have one in the future. But seems it keeps on changing and many newest model coming in.
