Sri Lanka's first official tour of India in 1982-83 was a mixed bag; they lost all three one-day internationals, but achieved an honorable draw in the inaugural Test. Doubts over Sri Lanka's stick ability and class had persisted before the series, but their draw earned them respect in the cricketing world - as did their adventurous stroke play, with which they have become synonymous.

Since then, they managed themselves into a stronger team and won many hearts with their stroke play and class in bowling.

This tour is going to be a very good one for both India as well as Sri Lanka, both having many challenges to overcome this time around. India, with much more experienced leader in Anil Kumble need to lead his troops as he did in Australia and Mahela on the other hand improving day by day.

Lets us hope both teams put up a good performance...

Thanks for the schedule! This is going to be an interesting tour after what we saw in the last month.

Moreover I would like to watch some ODI cricket after the Big T20 world cup bang.

Its good to see your article about cricket, Cricket is my favorite game and i always like to watch this game. I am very much disappointed due to India's loss in first test match against SriLanka. But i hope to see Indians back to the game.

Sri Lanka won the Test Series..
Made both teams great.
