How to keep website visitors on your site

 -----Sometimes it can be hard for web designers to develop a complete site which has the feel and effect to keep visitors on their site and keep on coming back to thier site but sometimes it can be pretty easy

to site designers. A reason could be that the second set of web designers tried harder to make a better site design .

Now to some people this could be hard or easy. So now this article will show you how to keep website visitors on your website longer. Sometimes users look at the site design and navigate away from your

site if they think it isn't good . You ,to keep your site visitors, have to invent new ideas which users will stay on your site longer. e.g.. Create some games on your users keyword search thoguh adobe flash cs3.

First ask yourself these eight questions ?

1. Does your site appeal to all ages and does it look attractive to you or your friends ?
2. Does your site contain enough content for the keyword you are competing for ?
3. Do you update your content once a day or once a week ?
4. Do you offer things for webmasters that visit your site ?
5. Does your site slow your PC down ? Does it take a long time to load ?
6. Do you provide a site which is hosted on a server with a low uptime ?
7. Is you site giving links which aren't real ?
8. Does your site contain self-made graphics/videos/audio ?


Answers to questions above with tips

1. If it looks attractive to you or your friends it will gain visitors and keep visitors on your site because of the fact that it looks modern and advanced not basic like some low traffic sites .
2. Make sure your site content engages your visitors with the quality content you produce . Enable them to give feedback .
3. Update your site regularly. This will bring back visitors to your site.
4. Offering widgets or help for webmasters can be a real benifit as they might put a link to your site(on their site) thus giving you more traffic by helping other people .
5. This is a no no ! Each page should not be bigger than 100kb else it will slow your visitors PC down thus users navigating away from your page.
6. If the homepage of your site comes with an error you will be losing valuable traffic and they probable won't visit again.
7. Show visitors links on your website which are invalid will decrease the chances of users leaving your site and navigating away to another site.
8 Use .gif images . These images store less space and take less time to load . In addition videos can be valuable if they match what the user is looking for. Create new videos/or add new videos weekly to keep

users coming to your site . Make sure that you 100% DON'T have background music enabled on your webpage . BY doing this ,if your visitor if playing his/her own music he/she will 100% navigate away.

Unless he/she has a bad taste of music and likes them both played at the same time !!

***Make sure your page width isn't too big for your site visitor. He/She might then navigate away because of the fact he/she has to move side to side to read or view your content.

***The more you do the more you get thats my saying. So concentrate on your site and your competitors.What's their google page rank. Try and aim for a higher google page rank thank them.
