It looks so simple and stealthy, yet Mesa Boogie F-50 gives pure magnificence. The Boogie F-50 is a stealth designed but inside is the true meat and potatoes. Mesa Boogie doesn't only focus on gaining so much from their products, but of course, they're known to always place excellence at making their amplifiers pure quality with good-looks, and the F-50 is no exception in either department. Familiar in style, uniqueness defines a great mark in the amp line. In any case, the Mesa Boogie F-50 is a wonderful tone machine, however, it is an underrated rock machine due to the short production period (including F-30 and F-100). Aside from the sleek look, tremendous tone and extreme quality, the F-50 like any other Mesa products, is easy to use. Simplistic at its finest. It's very important to our music players to taste the diligent combination of guitar and of the amplifier. All should blend together to give the musician the feel of carefree playing.

Talking also about its simple stealth approach, the layout also contains two rows of controls consisting of the master volume, bass, mid, treble, gain and the reverb control. It also has a small-sized toggle that can be switched either to Channel 1 or Channel 2 even with out the contour role of the F-50. There is also a push and pull pot which connects the Channel 1 knob to a switch. All of the controls are not hassle to use. They are all very basic and straightforward, so easy to use and so easy to understand. But do not mistake this for just being an ordinary type of amplifier due to its simplicity. There is much more to discover inside its outer panels.

Behind the F-50, you will find a pair of Mesa Boogie 6L6 Power Tubes, totaling 50-watts of synergy of power. For the parallel effects loop (with the addition of the FX mix control) great for your favorite effect pedals. Also to be found on the rear panel, a mute switch for the main purpose of recording silently or rehearsing / bedroom practice using a headset. The rhythm and lead channels are evenly exceptional, in attempt to comparing it to other amplifiers, its not fair for the other amps, the F-50 have the edge in many areas, from it's cleans, dirty, to overdrive… add on some reverb, it's incomparable. Even when the master volume is cranked to its maximum state (neighbors love loudness!), the sounds produced is full and articulate. All of the eq controls are extremely sensitive with gobs of range, but when adjusted to your flavor, the settings define an extreme expression. What more could you ask for? It is all in that black stealth box with the "Mesa Boogie" logo on the front, the F-50 is worthy of its boastful gestures.
