Hinduism: A fast growing religion

Hinduism has a very unique set of beliefs. This religion has been in practice for hundreds of years. It is a collaboration of many traditions and rituals. No one knows for sure about the origination of this religion. Many people have different levels of this religion in which they practice. Hinduism has a long history and some of it is still unclear to historians. Many things create this beautiful religion; cultural and societal influences that have made it what it is today, Hindus have the want for freedom from earth.

Hinduisms is made up of in believing that one must live life to around their god. There are many factors that have created Hinduism. Hinduism is based upon mainly of Vedic religion. This religion is based solely on believing in the Absolute. Everyone lives life; everyone lives life by a code of ethics. If one lives by the code and finds one “self”, then good things will happen after death. Their death is not about dying, they believe that one’s “soul” never dies but is reincarnated into some other life form. They must live through many cycles of life forms. Hindis believe in finding one self and embracing the Absolute is everything. After completing numerous life cycles and finding one self their ultimate goal in life was, “to escape from samara is to achieve moksha, or liberation from the limitations of space, time, and matter through realization of the immortal Absolute” (Fisher, 2005, p.75). Samsara is the cycles that one must live through in order to receive the highest gift. Hindis live a simple life that consists of living by ethics and praying to the divine.

There are many cultural and societal influences that have made Hinduism crucial to originating in the region where it is practiced. Hinduism is based on a collaboration of history throughout the region of its roots. Hinduism grew with history; it upheld not its original form but carried many sacred beliefs that are still practice today. The teachings of the Upanishads have held an extreme importance of spreading the word of this religion and keeping it sacred. The Samkhya, Advaita, Vedanta, and yoga are cultural systems that help explain Hinduism in a deeper meaning. With India being located in the region it holds many sacred archeological statues. Hinduism has many religion ties to the sacred ground in which in India lies today. Without those ties to the land Hinduism would not exist.

The desire for liberation from earthly existence is Hindis ultimate dream. Liberation from Earth is what they live their everyday lives for. In Hinduism people live for the Absolute, their God. They believe in karma in a sense that every desire or thought has an action in response. If someone has many unfortunate events that happen to them then they believe that one has desired something wrong. Their idea about reincarnation is “One takes birth again and again in countless bodies—perhaps as an animal or some other life form—but the self remains the same” (Fisher, 2005, p.75). The self will continue to live through countless cycles of live. As they live each cycle they will live each life with a code of ethics and continue to live for the Absolute. The cycle is called samsara. Exiting the samsara and entering the moksha is the highest honor in which everyone strives to obtain. The moksha is a freedom from time, space and existence on earth. It carries an understanding of one self and immortal Absolute.

Throughout Hinduism many things have affected this religion, being in existence for so long many things have changed. Hinduism has grown with the ever changing world. There are millions of people who still practice this unique, original religion. Hinduism has kept many of its sacred traditions. All in all Hinduism is a very simple and peaceful religion. Their ides about karma and reincarnation are passionate. Their main goals as a soul cycling are to have peace within one self. They live life to be the best they can. The have had many influences regarding their native ground. Hinduism is a beautiful and ancient religion, it will continue to proper through its deep roots in this world.

It is never about the numbers, Hindus never try to convert or send missionaries to convert people of other religions, it is up to a individual, to choose the path to follow dharma.

Hinduism is spiritual mother

Hinduism's traditional name is Sanatan Dharam which in english closely means ETERNAL LAW. As its name means..no doubt it is oldest existing spiritual path of humanity still strong, confident and growing.....now practiced by more than 1 billion people.

Hinduism is now spreading in western world through growing interest in Eastern philosophy, Yoga, spread of Logical "Law of Karma" instead of illogical theory of partial god who has no control weather u are born in jungles of africa or in comforts of New york city....

Hinduism believes in one and only one supreme reality who exists in millions of forms and we can also call him by name Allah and Jesus.

Ethical Growth

It doesn't matter if hinduism is growing fast or not. What matters is if some of its contents are helping people or not. If someone likes to do yoga and meditation as well as believe in brahman, which might help in his/her personal growth, then thats great. This doesn't demand any need to wearing hindu tag.

I hope that hindus never get into the race of winning converts like muslims and christians do who sometimes end up adopting unethical practises to win converts.

well.i think islam is the fastest growing religion in the world ..hinduism does have yoga or such stuff ..but other things does not make sense at all ..like there are 1000nds of gods in hinduism .and many supersticious bilief ..
iam not here to critisize hinduism its just a fact !!! and for ur kind information iam not muslim ..
