The Wii is living up to its name as the best casual gaming console in the market and with titles like the new Go, Diego, Go! Safari Rescue, it further cemented the game consoles standing as the game console for the whole family. The Go, Diego, Go! Safari Rescue is based on Nickelodeons extensive research that matches the needs of pre-schoolers with the capabilities of the game system and is developed by 2K Play.
In Go, Diego, Go!: Safari Rescue, your kids play as Diego as he races across Africa. Gameplay involves your kids stomping to scare away lions, jumping, climbing ladders, swimming, and painting stripes on zebras with the use of the Wiis intuitive remote control, your kids will also be able to help Diego blow up a hot air balloon by mimicking the pumping up and down action on their Wii remote. Plus, you can join in on the fun by using a second Wii Remote to help your kids along. This game involves physical activity, further enhancing its attraction to parents who want their children to be active. Playstation 2 owners wont get left behind because Totally Games will be releasing Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Mermaids. In Dora Saves the Mermaids, your kids will also get to experience the swinging, bouncing, and sliding gameplay of Go, Diego, Go!
Both games features the original actors voices on the TV show. Expect these titles to be available on February 12th with Go, Diego, Go! Safari Rescue selling for $39.99 on the Wii System and $29.99 on Playstation 2 while Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Mermaids will also cost $29.99 and is only available for the Playstation 2.
Watch out for the Nickelodeons promotion of these games on Nick Jr., Treehouse and Toon Disney and also on advertisements on Magazines and web sites.
