MMORPGs
Massive multiplayer online role playing games are one of the most popular games in the world right now. Basically these games are categorized as well. There's this type where you have control of your character and the HTML based where you just click. Now the HTML based version of MMORPGs do not require download therefore attracts many gamers. Are these games really fun? They are not as fun as the other type of MMORPG mainly because the player do not have control over everything there is. These HTML-based MMORPG allow the player to select an option, create a job for their account and then leave and the job will continue.
How owners of these games make money. The owners of HTML-based MMORPG games make money by selling upgrades, an advantage in the game to those who will be willing to buy it. These are usually at a semi-cheap price, another way the owner can make money is by using ads and such. Most html-based MMORPG games have usually around 3,000 members once it reaches its high state. At this time there are many page views every single day.
Now since they are HTML-based wouldn't they be easy to hack? Even though they are called HTML-based games, they usually run on a PHP script instead. So what are most of these games? They are normally adventure and action located at any time, olden days, future or present. They also have player versus player mode as well. The owner of a HTML-based MMORPG will have to make several servers as well making each server have its own uniqueness.
HTML-based MMORPG are very popular in these days since they require no download and not a lot of time. Just one click and then go do something else. Normally an owner won't become very rich just having a single HTML-based MMORPG but it is worth an investment in the long-term.
