World of Warcraft Game Review

Although it may have been released a few years ago the ever popular game World of Warcraft is constantly being updated and with a great support team the game is still going strong. There are more subscribers every day bringing the total subscribers of the game up into the millions. The diverse amount of people playing the game is what makes it so interesting. There are young kids as well as old adults who love the game just as much as the other one. Parents are able to interact with their kids at a whole different level if both the parent and the child are in to video gaming.

Gameplay: This is definitely the strongest aspect of the game. Without its online play the game would be nothing special. The ability to play with millions of other people keeps the game interesting and unpredictable. There are three separate types of servers that you can play on once you have subscribed. You can play in either a normal, pvp, or roleplaying server. The only difference between these servers is the amount of killing between real players there is. There is more area on the actual map of the game within a PvP server where players from the other faction can attack one another. There are two factions within the game. You have the horde and the alliance and both factions have their strengths and weaknesses that are well balanced so that no faction has an advantage over the other one. Once you choose a faction you then can choose what race you want to be. There are many different races. From the alliance side you can be a human, gnome, night elf, dwarf, or a dranei. On the horde side you can choose to be an orc, undead, blood elf, troll, or a tauren. After you choose your race you can then choose what class you want be. There are many different classes you can choose from ranging from warriors to mages and each one has their own abilities.

Graphics: The graphics for this game are pretty good. Sure there are some other games out there with better graphics but once again this is not what made this game so popular, which was the gameplay. World of Warcraft has better graphics than many other pc games out there. I especially liked the magic effects and weather effects of the game when I tested the game out. The good thing about the graphics not being the best out there is that it gives more people an opportunity to play the game. If the system requirements are higher there will be less people with a good enough system to play the game. This is another reason why there are so many people playing today.

Cost: The game itself doesn't cost anything. You can download the game directly from the Blizzard website which takes a few hours but this is expected since the game is so large. The subscription is what costs money. It's about fifteen bucks a month to play but this is well worth it in my opinion. Other games out there charge much more than this and are of lesser quality.

World of Warcraft is one of the best MMORPG's out there. If you are really into online gaming and role playing games than this is the game for you. You can try World of Warcraft out for free at the Blizzard website for about a week or two before you have to pay a subscription fee. I hope I've given you some deeper insight into the game and how it works than what you might have known about the game before now its up to you if you want to join a growing gaming revolution. Without online play, the game would be nothing. Period. There is no single-player option. :)
