Is the blogging craze coming to an end?

Many users from years back may have started out with an online journal - which at the time was referred to as an online journal, but nowadays is referred to as a "blog". Blog is the shortened definition of "web log". Blogging has become very popular, and is now a huge internet phenomenon. Many have jumped on the "blogging bandwagon" because of the extensive networking capabilities, the opportunity to create a full time job out of it, and its another way to earn an extra income.

Many businesses use blogs to post the latest information about their services, but some of the most popular blogs online are created by regular people who like to post their ideas for the world to read. Blogs can be more interesting and up-to-date than regular static web pages. They also make excellent communication tools for groups because they allow readers to submit comments after each post. To make it even more communal, most blogs tend to link to other blogs, creating a "blogosphere."

There are informative blogs, blogs that allow you to take a peak inside the bloggers personal life, blogs about poetry and blogs about current events and political views. Community blogs are a great way to find people with similar interests.

I originally started out my current blog to try to make some extra money, but it requires a lot of committment and time to really get it going...so for now, I'm just being creative and finding opportunities to make money from my blog as I can.

There is no way to insure that the blogging craze will come to a screeching halt, but we have all run across those annoying abandoned blogs from time to time. Just as with any technology that's come and gone, blogs will surely be around for a many years to come.
