Michigan Wolverines do not get punished for this???

Today as I was browsing some sports articles, I came across a title that included Michigan in it.  Born and raised in Ohio, this caught my eye.  I'll be honest.  I didn't hear about any of this until today.

Michigan's freshman safety, Artis Chambers, has played in three games now, including the last game against Penn St. that they won 14-9.  Soon after that game Michigan said there was a, what they call, "administrative error", and that he was not eligable under the Big Ten conference rules.

The Big Ten conference recently stated that they will not have to forfeit any of their games, and slapped them in the wrist.  It appears that no one wants to talk about this either since their athletic director didn't want to comment, no their coach, Lloyd Carr.

I just think this is amazing.  The reason why "administrative errors" happens like this all the time, is because punishments are never given.  When you don't enforce your rules, they are not rules!   I don't care what they call it, that kid, and his coach knew that Artis was ineligable, and they played him anyway.  There should be some sort of punishment for this, otherwise it won't stop!  I bet if they made Michigan forfeit, you will never see another administrative error like this ever again!

On the other hand, they aren't going to go anywhere anyway, so why kick them while they are down?
